We’ve all disagreed with a pundit at the best of times – but this is taking it to new levels.
Christian Constantin – the president and owner of Swiss club FC Sion – is accused of having an almighty punch up with a television pundit.
Sion beat Lugano 2-1 in the Swiss Super League but Constantin decided it would be worth taking out his frustrations on Rolf Fringer, the former Switzerland national team manager who now works as an analyst for Teleclub.
Though the footage is grainy it shows the angry owner dish out a slap but Fringer accounted the rest of the attack to newspaper Blick.
“Suddenly, Constantin called out to me. I turned around and already the first blow had landed in the middle of my face,” he recalled.
“A few more strikes followed. I turned and wanted to escape, but I stumbled over the camera. I fell over on the ground.
“Then there was still a kick in the butt, in the back. So, really unbelievable!”
That’s a bad day at the office.
