Arsenal have uploaded a moving tribute video after announcing that midfielder Santi Cazorla is to be released after six years at the Emirates.
The Spain international has struggled with injuries for the past three years and an Achilles injury sustained in October 2016 proved critical for the 33-year-old, with fears he could even lose his leg at one point.
Cazorla joined the Premier League side in 2012 from Malaga, making 180 appearances for the club as well as a helping them to FA Cup successes on two separate occasions.
Check out the Gunners’ tribute to the talented playmaker below.
#GraciasSanti for the 180 appearances, the 29 goals, the 46 assists, the cup final free-kick, the masterclass at Man City, the Panenka, the crazy footwork, the laughs, the corners with either foot, the goals in the north London derby and for always making us smile @19SCazorla pic.twitter.com/uIyi2JMetH
