Andrew Bogut is one of the better rim protectors in the NBA. Even though he doesn’t block a high volume of shots, he’s capable of changing shots throughout the course of any game to dominate on defense. In Game 3 between the Golden State Warriors and Portland Trail Blazers, he was probably hoping his presence would cause Al-Farouq Aminu to change his intentions at the rim in the second quarter.
Those intentions were bad though. They were very bad. And Aminu made sure to deliver the hammer on a soft contest and rotation from Bogut.
Bogut needs to get there a lot quicker or try a lot harder to block someone like Aminu.
