Hull City have made an audacious deadline day move for former Manchester United winger Nani.
The 30-year-old played a key role in helping Portugal win Euro 2016 in the summer and he earned a move from Fenerbahce to Valencia off the back of it.
However, he could be on the move once again as, according to reports in Italy, the Tigers are plotting a last-minute deal.
After letting Robert Snodgrass join West Ham for £10million, Premier League strugglers Hull are desperate to bring in attacking threat ahead of Tuesday’s 11pm deadline.
Angers’ Nicolas Pepe is an option, but new Tigers boss Marco Silva would reportedly prefer to snap up Nani.
Silva is an admirer of the Portugal international, having worked with him at Sporting Lisbon two seasons ago – where they won the Portuguese Cup together.
The Portugal international has plenty of Premier League experience after spending eight years with with Manchester United, and would provide a boost to Hull’s survival hopes.
