Milos Raonic says he might have a muscle tear in his thigh, an injury he experienced during his quarterfinal match against John Isner at Wimbledon.

Raonic called the trainer at 6-5 in the first set, winning it in a tiebreaker before falling in four sets.

“It feels like a tear of the muscle. I don’t know to what extent. That’s sort of the sensation I had,” he said.

Raonic said he began having problems a couple of games before he called the trainer, and was affected most while serving. He was broken in both the third and fourth sets.

“Any time I got low,” he said. “There wasn’t much going on from the baseline or at the net. It was only going down for one shot. To sort of transfer the weight, to be able to jump to my serve, because I was doing that every single point I was serving, was the toughest part.”

The 27-year-old Canadian is a former finalist at Wimbledon, but has been having frequent leg problems.

Following his match, he did not know if he will have to change his tournament schedule following this newest problem.

Raonic is No. 32 in the rankings.
