Made one impressive stop to deny Demarai Gray a third Leicester goal, but conceded both of the Foxes’ first two shots on target. Admittedly, he could do little about either goal, as one was deflected and the other was a wonder strike.

Liverpool were dumped out the Carabao Cup on Tuesday night by Leicester City, at the Foxes’ King Power Stadium.
Despite dominating the game with 70 per cent possession and 21 shots to Leicester’s eight, Jurgen Klopp’s side failed to seriously test Ben Hamer in the hosts’ goal.
And, as the visitors grew increasingly frustrated with their inability to find the back of the net, Shinji Okazaki fired Leicester in front with a shot that deflected off Andrew Robertson past Danny Ward.
With time running out, Islam Slimani put the result beyond doubt by firing a wonderful long-range strike into the top left corner of Ward’s goal.
