Leeds fans have been reacting to the news Pep Clotet will leave the club at the end of the month.
The Spaniard, who was assistant to Garry Monk last season, is out of contract on June 30 and director of football Victor Orta has confirmed the 40-year-old’s departure.
Orta was speaking at Thomas Christiansen’s unveiling as new head coach, and said the ex-Swansea manager’s staff, such as Clotet and James Beattie would be following him out of the club.
Beattie is expected to join Boro, while Clotet is said to be seeking a new challenge.
Leeds fans had hoped Clotet was the brains behind last season’s seventh-placed finish, and that he could stay on and continue the good work.
But Danish boss Christiansen will be bringing his own staff to Elland Road.
