Connor Hellebuyck made 24 saves and Patrik Laine scored his team-leading 16th goal of the season as the Winnipeg Jets ended a two-game losing skid with a 4-0 win over the St. Louis Blues on Sunday.

The victory was payback for a 2-0 St. Louis win the night before with Blues goalie Carter Hutton stopping 48 Winnipeg shots. Netminder Steve Mason had the road loss.

It was starter Jake Allen in net for St. Louis (22-11-2) on Sunday. He stopped 42-of-46 shots in the losing cause.

It was Hellebuyck’s second shutout of the season and eighth of his career.

Adam Lowry, Mark Scheifele and Josh Morrissey also scored for Winnipeg (19-10-5). Morrissey added an assist and Andrew Copp and Jacob Trouba each had a pair of helpers.

The win was a boost for the Jets, who are now 2-4-1 in their last seven games.
