Rickie Fowler raced home for the 18-man Hero World Challenge, erasing a seven-shot deficit heading into the final round after closing with a course record 11-under 61.
Fowler, using new Cobra KING F8+ woods for the first time in competition as well as sporting his new PUMA ‘P’ Snapback cap, went out in 28 shots to hit the front, before returning in 33 to run out a commanding four-shot victor on a tournament record 18-under.
The victory at Albany marks Fowler’s fifth career title.
REVIEW: COBRA KING F8+ DRIVER
“An incredible, record-breaking win for Rickie today,” said Cobra Puma Golf President Bob Philion.
“His performance was the perfect way to bring momentum early on in his 2018 season. All of us at COBRA PUMA GOLF are so proud to congratulate him on this impressive win.”
Fowler complemented his stellar play, fueled by his Cobra Golf equipment including new F8 driver with the brands first CNC Precision Milled forged driver face, by bringing colour and signature style to the course in apparel and footwear from PUMA Golf’s Spring Summer ‘18 collection, including a debut of his new go-to cap for the upcoming season, the PUMA P Snapback Cap.
The P? The brand tells us it can stand for PUMA, but also much more: Power, Passion, Practice or Perseverance.
Tiger Woods carded a final-round 68 to mark his return to golf with a tie for ninth on 8-under.
