Tottenham are looking to step up their summer transfer business by signing Juan Foyth from Estudiantes, according to reports.
Spurs announced the club-record signing of Davinson Sanchez on Thursday after agreeing a £42million fee with Ajax.
And now the north Londoners are hoping to conclude a deal for Foyth, with Mauricio Pochettino’s side entering advanced negotiations for the player.
According to The Guardian, Spurs have offered £9million for the 19-year-old defender and are hopeful of concluding a deal.
The Argentinian youngster looked to be heading to Paris-Saint Germain after the Ligue 1 outfit reportedly agreed a fee with Estudiantes last month.
But it appears Spurs have overtaken the Parisian club as favourites to secure the signature of the Argentinian U-20 international.
