Arsenal are in pole position to complete the double £75million signing of Pierre Emerick-Aubameyang and Jonny Evans, according to reports.
Gunners boss Arsene Wenger confirmed the club are in talks with Borussia Dortmund to sign Aubameyang and are now said to be favourites to secure Evans from West Brom.
The Telegraph report Evans had his heart set on a move to Manchester City before they shifted their attentions to Athletic Bilbao defender Aymeric Laporte.
But Arsenal are now expected to push through a £20m move for the Northern Ireland international, who could leave The Hawthrorns for as little as £3m in the summer, should the Baggies suffer relegation.
The Gunners continue to negotiate with Dortmund over the potential club-record transfer of Aubameyang, with Olivier Giroud being mooted as a key figure in the deal, who would join the Bundesliga club on loan.
