Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has confirmed midfielder Aaron Ramsey is set for three weeks on the sidelines through injury.
The Wales international limped off during Tuesday’s 2-1 defeat to Watford with a calf problem.
It means the 26-year-old will miss Saturday’s clash with Chelsea, although the Gunners boss will be boosted by the return of fit-again Danny Welbeck.
When asked how long he expects Ramsey to be out for, Wenger said: “I would say 21 days.”
As well as Welbeck – who scored twice in his return to the first-team in the FA Cup last weekend – Arsenal also hope to have Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Olivier Giroud available.
“Giroud should be alright,” Wenger added.
“Maybe Welbeck will come back into the group and that’s basically it. Chamberlain has a test today as well but I think he will be alright.”
