Arsene Wenger has revealed defender Laurent Koscielny will undergo a scan today to determine the extent of the hamstring injury he picked up in the defeat to Bayern Munich.
The France international was substituted at the start of the second half in Munich, shortly before the Gunners collapsed to a heavy 5-1 defeat to the German champions.
Wenger is almost certain to be without the 31-year-old for his side’s trip to Sutton in the FA Cup on Monday and will hope the defender’s absence isn’t lengthy.
“I don’t know,” Wenger said on the extent of the injury. “He has a scan today.”
The Frenchman is likely to field a strong side against their National League opponents as the FA Cup now appears to be the only realistic chance of silverware for the Gunners this season.
