Poor Alexis Sanchez.
First he is ignored by his Arsenal teammates after scoring against Crystal Palace, now he is being trolled on Twitter by Mohamed Elneny!
Elneny, an Egyptian international, sent out a Tweet on Saturday to his 1.85million followers asking which of his Gunners pals will be joining him at the 2018 World Cup.
He listed Alexandre Lacazette, David Ospina, Hector Bellerin, Laurent Koscielny, Mesut Ozil, Nacho Monreal, Olivier Giroud and Shkodran Mustafi, who will all be in Russia with their respective national teams.
But he then signed off with a cheeky jibe at Sanchez, who will not at the World Cup after Chile surprisingly failed to qualify.
Elneny wrote: “Sorry my friend Sanchez. There is no place for you”.
We’re sure it’s all just ‘banter’ but Elneny’s Tweet does little to dispel rumours of a division within the squad over Sanchez, who is out of contract next season and reportedly eager to join Premier League rivals Manchester City.
